Booking information - terms and conditions

Booking Contract
This document outlines the Terms & Conditions for the event on DATE at LOCATION titled NAME OF EVENT.

1. Agreement between
Booking contracts are negotiated by Shef Leppard and the venue hereinafter referred to as the client.

2. Confirming the booking
Confirmation will mean any electronic, verbal, or written acceptance of this booking by the client. All bookings take effect immediately upon confirmation.
Bookings can be made under several arrangements and must be part of the written acceptance
Fixed fee - No further deductions to be made and no additional charges from Shef Leppard
Door/ticket split - A split percentage will be shown, usually 80% to Shef leppard and 20% to the venue. Any deductions for VAT, security, PRS etc must be highlighted in advance as part of the agreement
Venue Hire - Shef Leppard pay a fixed fee to hire the venue, PA, sound engineers etc. No additional charges unless agreed in advance.
If VAT is being charged a company VAT number will be required.

3. Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total agreed event fee may need be paid by the client at time of booking. (depending on booking arrangement)
The remaining payment of 75% or full payment if no deposit is given is to be paid by the client to Shef Leppard no later than 7 days after the event.
All settlement figures must be sent to Shef leppard within 5 working days to allow invoices to be sent out in a timely manner.

4. Cancellations
In the event of the client cancelling the contract after the booking has been confirmed, charges maybe levied as follows:
More than 30 days notice - 25% total event fee.
Notice of 30 days or less - 100% total event fee.
In the unlikely event that Shef Leppard needs to cancel the booking, Shef Leppard will inform the client of the cancellation and make all reasonable attempts to find a suitable replacement artist of similar standard and style, at no extra cost to the client. Should a suitable replacement not be found, Shef leppard agrees to refund the client any prepaid event fees.
Should a replacement artist charge a much lower fee, the client will be refunded a proportionate amount of their event fee and the replacement band will be due their usual fee.
If a replacement artist is required last minute and the client is not happy to accept the replacement artist, they must not allow the replacement artist to perform. If the replacement artist is allowed to perform, their full fee will be due.
A minimum advance ticket sale of 30 tickets must be sold in advance of the event or Shef Leppard reserve the right to cancel the event.

5. Changes on the day
Where possible, changes to the agreed schedule which are unavoidable on the day of the event should first be discussed and agreed with Shef Leppard Any changes will be subject to these terms and conditions.

6. Standard artist requirements:
Power: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that a safe source of power is provided for Shef Leppard, and that all local authority regulations are adhered to. For further information regarding power requirements please contact Shef Leppard.
Venue constraints: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the performance venue will provide a safe performance area, and to ensure that the venue is happy to accommodate the performance of such live music, including any live music licenses. Other considerations, such as noise limitations, should be mutually agreed between Shef Leppard and the client prior to booking. Any relevant information should be disclosed to Shef Leppard prior to booking confirmation.
Performance Area: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that a suitable performance area is provided. From the point of view of the performance and the overall look, this should ideally be a raised stage to distinguish the staging area from the dancing/seating area. However Shef Leppard can perform without raised staging if necessary.
Dressing room: it is the responsibility of the client to provide a dedicated room for the band to change in privacy and where they can leave personal items and clothes safely. The client shall provide a minimum of 5 chilled bottles of water for the band to keep hydrated.
Parking: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure Shef Leppard are informed of any dedicated available parking spaces, loading areas or parking restrictions around the venue
Security: It is the responsibility of the client to provide adequate supervision and/or security at all times. In the event of unruly or threatening behaviour from any person, Shef Leppard are entitled to cease the performance but you will still be liable for the fee in full.
7. Performers
If one or more of the standard group of performers should be unable to perform due to prior commitments or illness, Shef Leppard will provide another performer. Shef Leppard agree that any replacement performer used will be of the same standard and professional competence as the performer who is to be replaced, and that they will have a good knowledge of the repertoire, and will represent the band to the same high standard. There will be no reduction in fee if a replacement performer is used.

8. Equipment
The equipment and instruments provided by Shef Leppard are not available for use by other performers or persons except by specific written permission.

9. Promotion
Shef Leppard and the client shall ensure that the event is promoted on social media and any other advertising platforms they have access too. The event should show from booking confirmation on all events pages/websites and shall have a ticket link within the first week of booking. Either the venues own posts or re posts of Shef Leppard video posts etc should be promoted heavily from 1 month prior to the event with a post 2 weeks and 1 week before the event being critical as this is when most people buy tickets. Shef Leppard has a password access press kit area on the website for any promotional information you may wish to use. Only approved logos, posters etc in line with the bands marketing campaign should be used.

10. Force Majeure
In cases of 'force majeure' (which shall be known as war, fire, death, illness or other capacity certified by a properly qualified medical practitioner, epidemic, accident, civil commotion, national calamity, order of Government or Local Authority having jurisdiction in the matter, changes in law, foreign government policy, act of God), which are not attributable to any act or failure to take preventive action by Shef Leppard or client, then the Shef Leppard or client may cancel this booking without penalty other than loss of deposit.

11. Complaints
In the event you have any complaints and as a condition precedent to any compensation claim, the issue must be put in writing and forwarded to Shef Leppard within 48 hours of the event taking place.

12. Intellectual property
Shef Leppard own the intellectual property to all logos, photographs, videos and audio associated with Shef leppard and these shall not be used without prior consent. Only the correctly branded tour promotional information should be used which will be either provided by or approved by Shef Leppard. Aproved logos/branding can be obtained from Shef Leppard.

13. lead terms and conditions
These terms and conditions shall be regarded as the only terms and conditions and shall be deemed to be agreed by all parties unless amendments have been agreed in writing or other terms have been sent prior to the contract being agreed for Shef Leppard to review and agree. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, then you are confirming that you are authorised by the company to enter into this agreement.
